our mission

WEND Africa, Women Empowerment Network Design,

is a nonprofit that provides opportunities for 

 employment, education & empowerment

to war-affected mothers in Northern Uganda.

 

EMPLOYMENT

Our  CORE PROGRAM  provides 

job opportunities, rehabilitation, and 

skills training to former child soldiers.

EDucation

Our  LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM  

provides funding for children to go to school.

empowerment

We provide  MENTORSHIP  on healthy

living, savings and investments,

and literacy and numeracy.
